Plans for the Healthy Living Centre - Update

Back in August 2011 our Outline Proposal to the Big Lottery Fund was successful in getting through to stage two. This has involved us working up our proposal to refurbish, upgrade our building and bring about a number of improvements would include the installation of a lift, Health Eating Café, new ground floor reception area and improved community space.  Only a limited number of projects are invited to submit an application so as you can imagine we’re delighted, but recognise we still have a long way to go. We are applying for just under £400K.  The planning permission for the project has been granted by the City Council.  We expect to hear in 3-4 months whether we have been successful or not in getting through to stage three.
