Our Mission Statement:
“The Forum exists to work with and support local people, improve Foxhill and recreate a sense of community pride “
Our Aims:

develop and sustain a Foxhill wide development strategy

support local community organizations and initiatives
-
identify the needs of marginalized groups in the area and to look for ways to both include and support them
-
develop and ‘kick start’ local initiatives to meet gaps identified
-
facilitate local organizations to work together and with outside agencies
-
maintain the sustainability of Foxhill Forum to achieve its aims
-
enable local people to access appropriate training and jobs

improve the quality of life for people in the area

work with groups to identify and secure funding for projects
Our Objectives
-
identify and secure future funding including generating income to sustain a ‘core’ team

employ staff to support and develop local groups, initiatives and develop their sustainability
-
continue to provide and develop support services for local groups
-
facilitate and support the setting up of local interest groups
-
identify the needs of marginalized groups in particular older people, children and young people, and look at what can be provided locally to meet their needs
-
continue to strengthen the relationship of Foxhill Forum with other organisations and agencies
-
provide volunteer opportunities.
Activities and Services we currently provide

Advice, support and training to local voluntary and community groups and organisations

Management, consultancy and support services to local groups, projects and organisations

Health and well being activities, community Learning Opportunities including IT Courses
-
Production and distribution of Route 42 – Foxhill’s Neighbourhood magazine distributed to 2,300 households
