Foxhill Forum is a charity based community organisation based in Foxhill, Sheffield. We offer a wide variety of activities and services including Health and Fitness, Volunteering Opportunties and Employablity Services. We have recently become a registered ASDAN Centre, and offer accredited qualifications and short courses.
In September 2010, we were successful in our bid for a grant of £391,388 over 3 years from the Big Lottery Fund. Our Community Regeneration and Engagement Project will deliver a range of volunteering and learning opportunities primarily to those who are unemployed in Foxhill, to assist them to bring about change for themselves and Foxhill.
The project will also engage more local people in ways they feel empowered to participate in local community issues and decisions. Local people will be encouraged to help develop their community, gain valuable work experience, develop new and existing skills, and help them to move into paid employment.
